About us
Coldham Cuddlies was established in 2010 by Isobel Morrell. Isobel has been making toys since the 1950s. As a parent, she made toys for her daughters, extended family and friends. After being widowed in 2012, she decided to focus full time on Coldham Cuddlies, which had been operating since February, 2010.
In 2011, animal toy restoration became an integral part of what we offer. We work closely with our clients to restore animal toys, resurrecting the comforting feeling when you cuddle them. Our restorers work closely with our clients, keeping them in the loop throughout every step of the process. We work with a variety of materials, patterns and dyes; however, we can't guarantee an exact result.

A non-refundable consultation fee of £25.00 is charged when a toy is booked in to our clinic. This is to cover the toy makers’ time and research costs. Once the method of treatment is agreed, that initial free becomes a part of the overall cost of restoration. Please note that the cost of delivery to our clinic is borne by the customer. Delivery charges back to our clients is a part of the consultation fee.
We will not proceed with any treatment if we cannot promise a good outcome. Any progress in restoration is shared with our customers via email.
We're also fundraisers for various charitable causes. We look forward to meeting you and your toys! We are open all days of the week.
